Exactly what you need when you’re first learning Hebrew. Nikkudim can are turned on by default. Always shows related/similar vocabulary - that way you can study the “surroundings” of the word you’re interested in. Also shows the relevant conjugations for all verbs, plurals and gender of the nouns and all the suffixes, constructs etc. Basically, it’s indispensable, I couldn’t live without it. There’s one thing I’m missing though: Can you please enable magnifying? On a small handheld it’s sometimes a bit hard to decipher the tiny Nikkudim under the letters.

The recent improvements („see also“) are an eye-opener! The indication of the stressed vowel is especially important for the learner. I like the clean design including the readable font, too. Thanks. Fine translations! Remains the wish for a German version. Would like to propose some improvements: Please consider an iPad landscape design. I use my iPad mostly in this way and because it’s not practicable to turn the device I am limited to the iPhone. If I search for a complete verb form would be great to scroll the detail page to it and highlight the hit.

I rarely write reviews but I am really happy with the app and since I almost didn’t download it bc you need to pay up-front I want to help you make the decision. The app does everything you expect it to do in the best possible way. It’s dedicated to Hebrew which makes it way better than all other generic translator apps. It’s super quick and I have all functionalities I need. Only thing I would like to add is a vocabulary test function. Thanks for this 👏

Love the app as the simple but effective way of navigating in it. Would be nice to have the possibility of creating a collection of words. Other than that - perfect!

For me as a Hebrew learner beginner, pealim is amazing. I have the impression that the developers really thought through it as it contains verbs in a thorough but minimalistic way. What I really like too is the search function: it allows for typing the Hebrew word in English letters and the app will find the verb. As it sometimes also contains words beyond verbs, I use it as an offline dictionary even for other words - it works best for verbs though. I see that the developers are constantly adding new features to the app. So I‘m looking forward to even more helpful details.
  • Passive Binyanim?

Hi, great app! Very comfortable and love the offline function. However, i am waiting for/looking forward to the addition of all the Passive editions of Hif’il (Huf’al) and Pi’el (Pu’al) in the App. I know they exist on the website so i’d appreciate a tab on all Piel/Hifil verbs to switch between active and passive forms. Also, the future version female plural groups is always stated as the same as male plural groups. I am aware that nobody uses the female forms (תסבירו // תסברנה), however I would love to be able to see them still. You can add the little star to let everyone know that nobody uses these forms today. Thanks and keep up the good work!
