PETLIBRO LITE

First off: We are able to setup and control our automatic feeders with this app. But: - you have to setup an account first - the app tries to get all kind of unnecessary rights all the time, not only for setup (Bluetooth, location) - very bad auto-translation into german - FAQ is never helpful - only most basic functions via the app (no Volume control, no mic recording via the app) - complicated ui and item organization - seems like their app got copied from some other basic „smart home“ app At least it is free, but regarding their product prices this is the absolut minimum.

We’ve got the feeder with camera function and the start with Petlibro was already rough. There is no proper description which of the Petlibro apps is the right one! With some try&error we figured out it’s the „lite“ version. The app itself is poorly translated into German, some functions are not clear. And the basic reason for buying Petlibro, the camera recording function is not usable for us! Either you have the movement notification active and the corresponding recordings incl. nice visualization of all actions on a timeline BUT you receive a ton of messages for every bit of movement (our feeder is in the living room) Or you have your cam recording permanently and no visualization or time stamps and have to watch the entire day through to figure out who is getting the most. And no unwanted messages to your phone. Can we have action based recording and no messages to the phone / iPad??
