Gin Rummy Plus – Kartenspiel

I have been playing Gin Rummy Plus for quite a long time, and I would first like to say that I genuinely enjoy the main game. I play it regularly and consider it an entertaining card game. However, what has increasingly bothered me are the additional promotions, weekly challenges, and bonus games offered alongside the main game. I am particularly referring to features such as the prize wheel and events where players have to reveal cards or images in order to receive certain rewards. I have been observing these features for approximately six months now, and I have noticed that I practically always receive the lowest possible reward. When using the prize wheel, it spins normally but repeatedly stops on one of the lowest rewards. The same applies to games where, for example, you have to reveal three matching symbols. Once again, I consistently end up receiving the lowest reward tier. Of course, I cannot know how these mechanisms are programmed or whether the results are technically determined at random. However, based on my experience over several months, these features no longer give me the impression of genuine randomness. And that is exactly my concern. If a prize wheel or similar bonus feature gives players the impression that different outcomes are randomly possible, but over a period of several months I receive practically nothing other than the lowest rewards, the feature completely loses its credibility for me. I find this particularly problematic because coins and diamonds can also be purchased with real money. As a player, this creates the impression that these bonus mechanisms are primarily designed to award very small amounts and then encourage players to purchase additional in-game currency. There is another issue that I find even more frustrating. I spent diamonds to unlock an additional slot. At the same time, the game repeatedly encouraged me not to continue playing with a guest account and instead to sign in using my Facebook account. I eventually followed this recommendation and connected/logged in with my Facebook account. After doing exactly what the game encouraged me to do, I discovered that the additional slot I had already paid diamonds to unlock was locked again. The game is now asking me to spend the same amount of diamonds again to unlock a feature that I had already unlocked. I find this completely unacceptable. I followed the game’s own recommendation to switch from a guest account to a Facebook-linked account, and as a result I apparently lost something that I had already spent in-game currency on. I should not be required to pay twice for the same unlock simply because I followed the game’s recommendation to connect my account. I therefore expect this issue to be reviewed and the additional slot that I already unlocked to be restored without requiring me to spend any further diamonds. I would like to make it very clear that my criticism is not directed at the actual Gin Rummy game itself. I fully accept that I will win some games and lose others. My criticism relates specifically to the additional bonus games, reward mechanisms, and now also the way my previously purchased unlock has been handled after linking my account. I have spent real money on the game in the past. However, based on these experiences, I have now decided that I will not spend another cent on Gin Rummy Plus. I personally find that disappointing because I still genuinely enjoy the main game. That is precisely why I wanted to provide you with this feedback. I believe it would be helpful to provide greater transparency regarding how the probabilities in these bonus games actually work. If different rewards have different probabilities of being awarded, this should be clearly communicated to players. I also expect purchases and unlocks made with in-game currency to remain available when a player follows the game’s own recommendation to connect their account. At the moment, my overall experience with these additional features has unfortunately reached a point where I have lost confidence in them.
