PulseDashX puts your Mac's vital signs in one place: CPU, memory, disk, network, graphics, battery, and Bluetooth, live from the menu bar. Most monitors hand you a wall of numbers and let you work out what matters. PulseDashX gives you a single health score, tells you which subsystem is dragging it down, and keeps a short trend line beside each metric — so you can tell a two-second spike from something that actually needs attention. AT A GLANCE • One health score, weighted by what actually affects your Mac • A plain-language summary of what needs attention, if anything • Compact stats in the menu bar; the full panel is one click or one shortcut away SEVEN MONITORS • CPU — total and per-core load, user vs system split, top processes • Memory — used, free, compressed, swap, and real kernel memory pressure • Disk — used and free space, plus purgeable space macOS can reclaim • Network — upload and download speed, latency, connection type, local and public IP • Graphics — GPU name and memory, with unified memory identified on Apple silicon • Battery — charge, health, cycle count, time remaining, Low Power Mode • Bluetooth — connected devices and their battery levels, including AirPods TRENDS, NOT JUST SNAPSHOTS CPU, memory, and health score each keep a rolling trend line covering the last couple of minutes. A number tells you now; a line tells you whether it is getting worse. QUICK ACTIONS • Copy Report — an anonymised, plain-text system summary on your clipboard, ready to paste into a bug report or support thread • Clean Mode — blocks keyboard input so you can wipe your keyboard without typing into things • Eject Disks — safely unmount external drives, and tell you which one is busy if it fails • Jump straight to Activity Monitor or Storage settings BUILT FOR MACOS • Native SwiftUI, no Electron, no bundled runtime • Idles at effectively zero CPU and around 7 MB of memory when the panel is closed • Refreshes faster while you are looking and slows down when you are not • Global keyboard shortcut, remappable in Settings • Launch at login, if you want it • Full VoiceOver labels • English and Simplified Chinese PRIVACY PulseDashX runs in the App Sandbox and collects nothing. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. It makes exactly two network requests, both optional to its core function: one to show your public IP, and one latency probe to measure connection quality. The diagnostic report deliberately leaves out your IP addresses, username, and file paths, because it is meant to be pasted in public. No subscription. No unlockables. Every feature described here is included. Requires macOS 14 or later.
